All of our inspectors at James Dobney Inspections are trained to exacting standards. All are members of the Canadian Association Of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI BC), the most reputable inspection association in Canada. We are also all licensed under the licensing regulations of the Consumer Protection of BC (BPCPA).
All of our inspectors are trained under the Carson Dunlop education program, have extensive field training and have passed all required tests in this program — this includes 500 hours of course work, as well as attending inspections with Registered Home Inspectors over a period of 6 to 9 months.
We take advantage of our company's multi-inspector status through regular inspector meetings and educational training sessions during which the experiences of many are passed on to all. We also have guest speakers who are experts in various technical areas related to homes. This exchange of knowledge helps our inspectors to constantly improve their inspecting and reporting skills.
Our office staff is on duty from 8:30am to 8:30pm weekdays and from 8:30am to 6pm weekends and holidays. They are friendly and helpful and have the time and knowledge to answer your questions.
